Registration is closed

We will have an American Spirit training session on Saturday, April 5th from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

We will focus on the requirements of our volunteers dockside and when underway.

Weather and time permitting, Captain Matt will try to host a short sail to introduce and review all necessary responsibilities.

After this training session, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to select your "shifts."  You will register on Shiftboard (our volunteer force management application,) so that you will be able to sign up to Crew for the American Spirit ticketed and private charter events over the course of the next six months.

All volunteers taking one of the two "Volunteer Crew" positions per cruise aboard American Spirit should participate in a training session or come aboard during a cruise to observe (not filling one of the posted spots).

Our "American Spirit" Volunteer Crew Members are required to be paid members of DC Sail at the Lifetime, Admiral, Volunteer Instructor, Super and Basic levels.  To become a Member of DC Sail, please click here to be delivered to our membership webpage.

No guests permitted.
