When: Monday Evenings: 5:30 pm until sunset. Arrive between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM for boat assignments. Dock Managers will assign members to boats with experienced DC Sail skippers and assist with crew assignments.

Cost: No cost for current (paid) DC Sail members at the Admiral, Basic, Instructor, Lifetime and Super levels. 

Weather & Cancellation: Please monitor the weather prior to coming to the docks. For safety, we will close dock operations in the event of thunderstorms in the area within 15 miles and/or when there is an extended forecast for the threat of heavy weather, high winds or no wind situations and in extreme heat.

If the weather forecast is not reflecting clear and safe sailing conditions, it is likely the event will be cancelled.

While we typically send a notice of cancellation to confirmed registrants as well as post and update to our home page, Facebook, and Twitter accounts about an hour prior to the 5:30 PM start time, there are occasions where the weather causes a last-minute cancellation of the event. Dock Manager may also cancel the event if the weather becomes dangerous once the boats have launched.
