Adult Beginner Lessons

With the beginner lesson course you will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to pass the US Sailing Small Boat certification test, which will allow you to rent our Flying Scots without an instructor. (*Please click here to review our Boat Rental policies.) Beginner Lessons are offered April through October. Membership is required. Refresher Course

A bit rusty in your sailing skills? No need to take lessons all over again...just take a Refresher Course. The cost for DC Sail basic members is $125. Super Members receive one complimentary Refresher Course per year. Learn More and register - Membership is required. Intro to FJ's

Feel like you have grown out of the Flying Scots? DC Sail offers intermediate lessons on Flying Juniors that will teach you advanced boat skills and handling.
