Racing with DC Sail

Announcing a new change to DC Sail's adult racing program.

To encourage more participation, we are combining the two 6 week-long summer series into one long 16 week series.  Racing will move to Thursday nights at 6:00 pm.  We hope this change will get more boats out on the line each Thursday.  Registration and payment are required for participation.

2018 Adult Racing Series Dates to be posted by late March.

No per diem racing is permitted.

To participate in any race series you must pay for the entire series in full. During Frostbite Racing (October to May,) wet or dry suits are required.

Register to Race:

No racing experience is required, however, it is encouraged that sailors have a basic knowledge of the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and be confident in their sailing skills.

To gain this knowledge and an insight into tactics, strategy and boat handling, sailors can take DC Sail's Intro to FJs Course that runs monthly throughout the peak season.

Please be advised that Race Series with less than 10 participants will be cancelled and any confirmed registration fees refunded.

To be posted once RC has compiled its results.
