Registration

  • This registration is for sailors with an annual household income of less than $50,000.00. Scholarship application and supporting documents to be delivered to Camp Director at check in the first day of camp.

Schooner Camp, which is held aboard our 65-foot schooner, American Spirit, from Monday through Friday will educate students on subjects pertaining sailing on a schooner, seamanship, local history and marine science with a focus on local flora and fauna. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects are part of the excellent, award-winning, on-the-water and dockside curriculum.

*Please note ability to reschedule any missed class is not possible due to logistics. Before continuing with your registration, please assure that your calendar will allow for your child’s attendance for the full week. DC Sail does not offer discounts or refunds for partial week attendance.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

In processing registration and issuing payment, you will be agreeing to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Requests for cancellation 30+ days from start date would receive a full refund.

• Requests for cancellation within 30 days to 14 days from the start date would receive a 75% refund.

• Requests for cancellations with less than 14 days prior to the start date would be non-refundable. *Consideration of extraordinary circumstances will be at the discretion of the Executive Director.

Registration is a Two-Part Process. 

Step One: Please submit both the online registration along with full payment with a credit/debit card. Unpaid registrations will be automatically cancelled by the system after 15 minutes. Please make sure you have your payment information available at the time of registration to assure the completion of the online registration process.

IMPORTANT: When entering information into the form, please enter parent name at the top of the form. There are fields below on the form for sailors' name and age, etc.

Step Two: Launch, print and complete hard copy Registration Form.
