Get to know your fellow sailors ranging from the beginner to advanced level while enjoying a relaxing evening on the Potomac.  Inexperienced sailors get grouped with experienced sailors prior to leaving the docks.

This is about having fun and a good time!

Beginning May 18th, every Wednesday evening through September 13th, DC Sail hosts an open house for prospective members of DC Sail. No sailing experience is necessary.

When: Arrive between 5:30-6:00 pm until sunset around 8:00pm.

Cost: Free for members and DC Sail students, $20 for non members. If you want to pay online, just bring your receipt or you can also pay down at the dock!

Weather: We will cancel the event in the event of severe weather. Please check our Facebook page for updates. If thunderstorms are in the area close to the start time, chances are the event will be called off for safety.

*Note: time on the water is about an hour and is based upon the number of participants. Boats will be filled, head out for sailing, return to the docks and new skipper/crew will be allocated.
