2014 Annual Youth Regatta

In celebration of our 2014 Youth Programs, participants from the 2014 High School Racing Program, Kids Set Sail, Schooner Camp and Spirit of America Boating Safety Camp are invited to our 1st Annual Youth Regatta!

We will have buoy racing in our sailboats, kayak and canoe racing, and our schooner,"American Spirit" will host brief rides and sailing skills "challenge" racing such as raising the main by team, etc.  

A full day of wonderful maritiime activity!

Join us from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 16th.  The event will be graciously hosted by the Capitol Yacht Club, which is located at 1000 Water Street SW, Washington, DC 20024.  Please click here for a map.  The CYC is at the opposite end of the marina from our DC Sail Docks, closer to L'Enfant Plaza.  Note that parking may be difficult due to construction.  Please plan ahead to allow for a little bit of extra time.

Registration is easy for parents to manage.  Simply select the program our child has completed and move through the form.

There is no fee to attend the event.  Donations to assist with the cost of food and beverage will be gladly accepted.

Guests, parents, grand-parents, and siblings will be welcome.  For safety and logistics, only those children who have completed either the High School Racing Program or one of our Summer Camps will be permitted access to the water and boats.  

We will also have some land-based activities so siblings can join in on the fun!
