DC Sail offers special Boating & Baseball Cruise and Game Combo for just $65/per person!

Set your sights on a one of a kind sailing & sporting adventure. You and a group of up to 35 passengers will begin with a sail aboard our 65-foot schooner, American Spirit. The boat idocked at the The Wharf on the Washington Channel in the DC Southwest Waterfront.

Pack a picnic, bring some beer or wine if you wish, and enjoy the scenery while sailing on the Potomac River toward Old Town Alexandria and back to our docks.

Our Captain will issue your baseball game tickets upon disembarking. With just a short Metro or taxi ride to the Nationals' stadium, you'll enjoy an exciting game of baseball with the Nat's!

Captain and Crew look forward to welcoming you aboard, "American Spirit!"

Please Note: We depart and return to our docks at The Wharf, 600 Water Street SW, Washington DC 20024.

Drop off at the stadium is not possible as there is a bridge that the very tall masts on the schooner will not clear and unfortunately prevents us from getting to our Diamond Teague Park Piers dock location just behind the stadium.

IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE NATS: Effective 2019, no backpacks of any kind will be permitted into the ballpark. Plan accordingly!

Helpful Information:

Food & Beverage: We do not offer food and beverage service on board for purchase. You're encouraged to bring along a picnic and drinks (beer/wine are permitted - no spirits, please.) Keep your menu super simple such as sandwiches/snacks.

Little Sailors: Children are most welcome! You'll need to purchase a ticket for them, infants included. Strollers are permitted. Our Crew will stow the strollers below decks during the sail. There is no power available during the sail, so please be prepared with supplies for your children as we do not have the ability to warm food or bottles.

Restroom: There is a unisex restroom on board.

What to Wear/Bring: You may wish to bring along a lap blanket and be sure to dress for the weather. Even in summer, it can be cooler on the water, so bring along a jacket or sweater if needed. Wear closed-toe, soft soled shoes.

Location: Please click here to view a map of our dock location.

Cancellation: If severe weather (thunderstorms, excessive winds, etc.) prevents us from being able to safely leave the docks, we will issue a cancellation and full refund of your purchase. Please be advised that we will not cancel in the event of light rain/mist. Rain gear/poncho is then suggested. Cancellation notices are sent out via email typically two hours prior to the planned departure time.
