Volunteer for Cantina Cup

DC Sail is looking for assistance on an assortment of roles for this year's Cantina Cup. Regatta and race experience is not required for all jobs and any help you can provide is appreciated.

Volunteers contributing a minimum of four hours of time will receive admittance to the Cantina Cup After Party at no charge.  Must be 21+ years old to attend the After Party.  As this is a fundraising event, we are unable to provide After Party access to guests of volunteers and respectfully request guests pay to enter the event.  (Advance ticket purchase is $5 less than tickets sold at the door.)

Registration links are found in the red box located below the descriptions for each volunteer role.  Please select your "shift" by clicking on the link in the box.

Merchandise Sales

Help with the merchandise sales during the day and at the After Party.  Shifts are for two hours each.

Media Boat

Volunteer to photograph both the regatta and the Awards Ceremony during the Cantina Cup After Party.  Multiple time frames are available.

"Floater" Volunteers

One hour shifts to fill in where needed during the course of the day-long event.  You're welcome to sign up for as many shifts as you wish.  You'll be assigned to an area upon your arrival.  Role includes assisting at Merchandise and Volunteer Check In table, managing dock gate access, etc.

Maintenance and Boat Prep

In the week prior to Cantina Cup, boats will need to be tuned and brought up to racing condition. To volunteer to help repair and prepare the boats for the regatta, sign up below. Contact Brian McNally for information on our Boat Maintenance needs.  (Dates for Cantina Cup Boat Maintenance will be posted in late July.)

(Update for this position: We are squared away for this role for the day and have removed registration as an option - Thank you!)
